Data acquisition is the collection of dynamic data. That is measurement of things that move, i.e. wheel speed, suspension position, throttle position etc. Top teams use data acquisition to measure and evaluate chassis and engine dynamic performance. G.M.D. Computrack has a state of art Pi Research data logger to sort suspension and chassis settings. With this system we can make a map of any track and relate the data to a specific spot on the race track. We can log front and rear wheel speed, front fork position, rear suspension position, throttle position, brake pressure, and we have several channels left over to accommodate engine performance as well. Exhaust gas temperature, air box pressure, oxygen sensors are just some of the possibilities. This system can be leased for a weekend or a season, or we can provide you with a system completely installed on your chassis with the training to use and interpret the data for your self or your team.
