Rake: Angle of steering axis off the vertical, usually defined by the steering head bearings. Smaller numbers are steeper rake angles, i.e. 125/250 GP bike 20-22 Deg., Sport bikes 22-26 Deg.,,  Choppers 30-60 Deg.

Trail: Distance the center of the contact patch TRAILS behind steering axis. Determined by Tire Diameter, clamp offset and Rake Angle.

Swing arm Length: Distance from swing arm pivot center to rear axle center. Varies with gearing changes.

Swing arm Angle: Angle of swing arm axis relative to ground. Varies with ride height, gearing and tire diameter changes.

Wheel Base: Distance from front axle center to back axle center. Varies with Ride height, gearing and clamp off set changes.

Clamp off set: distance from steering axis to front axle centerline. Fixed on production bikes, can be change with alternate or adjustable off set triple clamps. Changes effect primarily trail and wheel base dimensions. Less off set yields more trail

Front Ride Height: A reference number we use to gage the overall height of the chassis.

Tire Diameters: Overall diameter of actual tire. Although the tire size may be the same (i.e. 120/70) the diameters vary greatly from one manufacturer to another and have a 1-3mm tolerance in production.
